SVN|KOVA Fort Myers expands specialties within Cape Coral market, announces hire of Jesse Marker, Bob O’Connor
Fort Myers, Fla. (DATE, 2018) – SVN|KOVA Fort Myers is pleased to announce the expansion of its services to the Cape Coral market with the hire of Jesse Marker, Esq. as associate advisor and Bob O’Connor as advisor, appointed to lead SVN|KOVA’s new Cape Coral Market Team.
The development of SVN|KOVA’s Cape Coral Market Team is a result of the growing demand for commercial real estate transactions in this region. As part of the Cape Coral team, Marker and O’Connor will focus on all commercial real estate in Cape Coral, including sales and leasing for industrial, retail, land and multifamily, as well as buyer and tenant representatives. The team will utilize SVN’s national platform of 200 offices and over 1,600 staff members to increase their reach and gain more exposure for their client’s listings.

Marker brings an extensive background in both law and real estate development to SVN|KOVA’s Cape Coral Market Team. Originally from Clermont, Florida, Marker comes from a family of both real estate brokers and developers. He graduated cum laude from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, focusing on Real Property Development, and a minor in Finance. In 2017, Marker graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctor degree from The University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he gained a vast amount of knowledge in Real Property Disputes and Land Use. Previously, Marker worked as a commercial litigation attorney focusing primarily on real estate disputes and land use zoning issues.
As a Cape Coral-native, O’Connor brings a wealth of market expertise to the SVN|KOVA Cape Coral Market Team. Over the course of his career, O’Connor has had the opportunity to learn about commercial real estate, valuation services and zoning issues. O’Connor held an appraiser license from 2008-2010, where he analyzed properties and prepared appraisal reports. He is currently a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Cape Coral.
Marker’s understanding and experience of all legal aspects in the commercial real estate field, combined with O’Connor’s expansive knowledge of the region, will enable the SVN|KOVA Cape Coral Market Team to gain more exposure and provide higher return for their sellers.
